GROWING SPIRITUALLY/BUILDING RELATIONSHIPS/INSPIRED TO SERVE
HEARTS FOR
HEALTHCARE WORKERS
Want a tangible way to show your appreciation and support for our health care workers during this difficult time? Design a heart and hang it on your front door, window or wherever -- so those working in healthcare can see it -- and feel encouraged. Why not get the entire family involved and make hearts for the people on the front lines! Post your hearts on social media and tag it with #heartsforhealthcareworkers. Thank you!
HOW CAN WE HELP?
We understand people are implementing social distancing and would prefer not to leave their homes to make a trip to the grocery store or pharmacy. We've had several people from the congregation offer to run errands for those who are most susceptible or for parents who are at home with young children. If you are in need of help, please do not hesitate to contact Pastor Trudy or Julie Slifka #generouslifeinChrist
NORTHERN ILLINOIS FOOD BANK VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
Geneva Lutheran Church food packers are not volunteering  at Northern IL Food Bank next Tuesday, March 31. That being said, Northern IL Food Bank is considered to be an essential service. If you want to volunteer as an individual, please go to their website or call them (630-443-6910). They are running 2 to 3 shifts per day. Their website details the precautions they are taking to prevent people from spreading or getting the coronavirus. #generouslifeinChrist
We lift up in prayer
  • Judy Strubler
  • The Danly family
  • The families who can't have funerals
  • The people who are sick with the virus
  • The health care workers
  • The people who are struggling with anxiety in this crisis
  • The people who have lost jobs
