JUMP INTO JUNE WITH SCOPE! As we prepare to jump from June into July, campers all across the country are learning, growing, and having a blast at camp. This week, we're spotlighting some SCOPE supporters and partners whose efforts have helped made camp happen this summer!

GET INVOLVED WITH SCOPE JILL & JOSH COHEN AND H&H PURCHASING SCOPE Corporate Sponsor Jill and Josh Cohen know camp, love camp, work with camps, and pay camp forward too! Former Camp Cobbossee directors and current H&H Purchasing leaders, they have supported SCOPE in countless ways. If you’ve been to SCOPE events throughout the years you’ve probably noticed H&H as a sponsor; from the New York Benefit, Golf Tournament, and young professional events, they’ve got supporting SCOPE covered! Plus, they've generously donated event giveaways and backpacks used to pack camp necessities for SCOPE campers through our JLC gives back projects. Furthermore, Jill and Josh quickly got on board to help SCOPE establish its roots in the Southeast to give local children in their Florida hometown access to overnight summer camp experiences. Their 7-year-old daughter Juliet has continued her family’s philanthropic efforts by designing and making custom mask holders and donating proceeds to SCOPE and other children’s charities. Hooray for families that give back!

CAMP STRIDES FOR SCOPE CAMP WAYNE FOR GIRLS SCOPE Philanthropic Camp It's inspiring and exciting when young philanthropists take their love of camp and create an initiative to help provide similar opportunities for children whose families otherwise could not afford summer camp! Enter Camp Wayne for Girls' Baking for a Cause -- a virtual baking fundraiser led by one of their 3rd grade campers! With full support from the camp’s owner/directors Adena and Matt Brown, a fundraising page was launched and shared with their camp community. On April 25 campers gathered virtually to bake lava cakes with fresh whipped cream. Their efforts will help send one child to camp this summer; what a fun and creative way to activate philanthropic efforts led by kids!

Camp Newaygo, Michigan SCOPE Midwest Camp Newaygo whole-heartedly believes every girl deserves a safe place to become her best self. Every summer, campers spend time on the camp’s 104 acres learning the camp’s values: resilience, independence, and growth. They are given opportunities to bounce back from adversity, become self-reliant, make their own decisions, experience new things, and appreciate the outdoors. We were thrilled when Camp Newaygo opened in the summer of 2020, giving children a much-needed break and escape from the difficulties and challenges of the past year.
