Scarborough Walk of Fame looking for stars

Deadline Oct .15 to nomination Scarborough people who have made a local, national or global impact

The deadline is fast approaching to nominate the next round of recipients of a star on Scarborough's own walk of fame.


Community members are encouraged to nominate Scarborough residents past and present who have made a notable impact in a diverse number of fields.


Nominees are accepted through Oct. 15 for the following categories of community life:


  • Arts and Culture
  • Education
  • Environment
  • Health and science
  • Business
  • Entertainment
  • Community
  • Sports

The Scarborough Walk of Fame court is at the Scarborough Town Centre and features named stars on the floor as well as videos tributes.


Previously recognized stars include: entertainer Lilly Singh, gold medal hockey player Natalie Spooner, educator Dr. Vicki Bismilla and long-serving police services veteran Jay C. Hope. A full list appears on the www.scarboroughwalkoffame.com website.


The Scarborough Walk of Fame induction will be in April 2024 at Scarborough Town Centre.
