Hartford Public Library Opens More Doors July 6! On July 6 we're reopening 2 more of our branches and unveiling the Downtown Library’s renovated children room on the 3rd floor. In celebration of this occasion, we're inviting you to visit one of our locations, sign up for our Summer Learning program, and check out materials. Anyone with an HPL card who checks out at least one item in the month of July will automatically be entered to win an Amazon Kindle Fire! ( How cool is that?)
