Dear Friend:

Sometimes I wonder: how do we get so much done? As you read the blogs below, you may ask yourself that question too! Our office and watershed are buzzing with interns and fellows. Our Block Parties in Tacony Creek Park were fun and inspiring, introducing hundreds of neighbors to this beautiful green space. This fall, we’re restoring a new site along the Jenkintown Creek with our partners as part of the Delaware River Watershed Initiative.

I believe we get so much done because of a combination of two strengths -- our dedication to our mission and our capacity to seize opportunity. My mother called it moxie and chutzpah.

It’s my job to ensure that our team has the resources to turn the mission and the opportunity into impact. I love my job. It’s also my job to let you know that if you want to learn more about our work, I’d be happy to talk with you, your family, your neighbors, your colleagues, your supervisors. I know that TTF is a solid investment in a clean water future for our community. I look forward to taking a walk with you to talk about it soon. Email or call at anytime.

Cheltenham residents: stop by our table to learn about the Jenkintown Creek Project wetland and meadow project coming to the Conklin Pool campus in the fall.

We will share plans and drawings, and gather input from community members. We’ll be seeking volunteers to assist with planting and maintenance, too.

Get some fresh air and enjoy nature in beautiful Tacony Creek Park, right down the street! Our Community Trail Ambassador will lead walks with neighbors in the park on a few Sundays each month. Email [email protected] or call 215.744.1853 to let them know you'll join them on July 21 or 28. FREE!

Our creekside plantings and rain gardens require regular care, such as invasive plant and trash removal, deer fence repair, and new plantings.

One Saturday each month we spruce up a different creekside garden. Come get your hands dirty! And get community service hours!
