Celebrating some seriously talented teens
Last week,Jessie and Jessica Neriil, twins from Haiti, received the Seal of Biliteracy Award from Hartford Public Schools for mastering three (yes, three!) languages.

Jessie and Jessica arrived in the U.S. in September and immediately began participating in Hartford Public Library's English Learner Success program. They are graduating from high school in June and have been accepted at Capital Community College. Library staff assisted in the process of applying for college admission and financial aid.

Jessie and Jessica were two of six English Learner Success students recognized for biliteracy and triliteracy skills on May 17. Congratulations to all the students!
