Continue to check our website and watch for e-mail updates. Additional details on reopening policies, procedures, and modifications to programs, activities, and Center access will be released as needed through e-mails and website postings. Thank you for taking the time to review this information carefully.
The Mansfield Community Center continues to be open to

So, What's Open?
Limited spaces for each of the following areas are open for reservation. Equipment access and allowable activities will be limited:

Mansfield Playgrounds and Skate Park are open to the public and
do not require a reservation.
Please read visitor guidelines here before planning your visit!

Please read all details below closely. Walk-ups will not be accepted. Calendars will be made available for reservation between 12 p.m. and 2 p.m. the Friday prior to the upcoming Monday to Sunday week. Center access remains Members Only with the exception of General Business and Kayak/Paddleboard rentals. If you are unable to locate the required access code, please contact the reception desk. Your membership status will be verified and access code supplied.

Please be respectful of other members and sign up only for times you WILL be attending. To cancel a reservation you created, follow the tutorial here, call, or e-mail us. Please do not arrive more than 10 minutes in advance of your scheduled reservation.

We are happy to report on the following area updates:
  • The Fitness Center will now allow for each member to register for multiple fitness blocks per day. One hour not enough? Sign-up for two back-to-back blocks!

  • The Main Pool will now allow for all 6 lanes to be in use. Because this access is still very limited members are still permitted only ONE sign-up per day. The swim period is still 45-minutes. The registration time frame will still show one hour to include rinse and change time.

  • The Therapy Pool has no changes to the reservations process or availability at this time. Members are still permitted only ONE sign-up per day. The swim period is still 45-minutes. The registration time frame will still show one hour to include rinse and change time.

  • The Gymnasium will now allow for each member to register for multiple Open Gym blocks per day. Members are still permitted only ONE Pickleball sign-up per day. Masks may be removed in the gymnasium during vigorous exercise. During pickleball, masks must be worn. A 12 foot spacing must be maintained between people in the gym when masks are not being worn.

  • Looking to get in a Land AND Water workout? Good news - multi-area sign-ups for the same day are now allowed! A few important caveats:
  • Due to limited pool slots members may still only select time in the Therapy Pool OR the Main Pool each day, but you can add the Fitness Center and/or gymnasium to that visit!
  • Make sure you are reserving a slot in each area of the Center you plan to use.
  • Common-areas are still closed, so if there is a gap between your area reservation times, you may be asked to wait outside the facility until your next appointment.
  • Members will NOT be permitted into their reservation area BEFORE their reservation time. You can arrive late, but not early!

PHONE ASSISTANCE WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR RESERVATIONS DURING CENTER OPEN HOURS. Contact 860-429-3015 ext. 0 for help reserving your time!
All prior Community Center Communications are available on the Mansfield Community Center Website under "News".
Reminders of general facility-wide procedures to expect:
MASKS or cloth face coverings that completely cover the nose and mouth are required except on designated cardio equipment, in the pools, and during open-gym (when 12 ft. spacing is maintained). Any movement around the facility requires wearing a mask.

SOCIAL DISTANCING is required of facility users. Follow signage for traffic patterns throughout the facility.
HEALTH AS SESSMENTS will be given to all members and staff at each visit during the check-in process. This will include a temperature screening and brief list of questions. Members should self-screen at home prior to each reservation. If you are unwell or are experiencing any symptoms of COVID-19, do not come to the Community Center. Center access will only be permitted upon successful completion of the Center's health screening assessment. Use of hand sanitizer is required upon entry into the facility.

WAIVER AND RELEASE All members wishing to participate in Community Center activities must sign the waiver and release found here .

CLEANING AND DISINFECTING is increased and intensified throughout the facility. Employees will clean all equipment frequently and members must wipe down equipment before and after each use with provided products and materials that meet EPA and CDC guidelines for use against COVID-19. Each area will be closed for one full hour, twice daily for full area deep cleaning and disinfecting. A third deep cleaning and disinfection will occur in the evening when the facility is closed to the public.

WATER FOUNTAINS are closed. Please bring your own water bottle. Water bottle refill stations may be used for refill of personal water bottles only.

PERSONAL ITEMS Locker rooms will be closed and therefore personal belongings brought into the facility must be limited. Please read area-specific information for more details on area-specific allowances.

We encourage you to continue to participate fitness classes offered via ZOOM (new July Session Schedule added below - registration is open!) , and check our Facebook daily for fitness tips and ideas.
