Order blanket kits online. Pick up inside our workshop Monday - Friday, 9 am to Noon, or use our 24-hour curbside bin just outside the workshop.

Not in Central Ohio? Sponsor our "no-sew" blanket kits online to have them sent to you. We will help you contact your local children's services to deliver to kids in care in your area!

"Rising Up & Moving On" awards

At a special event each year, the Public Children Services Association of Ohio (PCSAO) presents Rising Up & Moving On awards, recognizing older youth and young adults who, despite their past trauma and time in foster care, have demonstrated resilience and success in life and education.

Gabriella talks about her life during and after foster care.

The honorees receive handmade quilts made by MVOB Blanket Angels. "This is a great conference we have been involved in for YEARS," said MVOB's founder Jessica Rudolph. "We are very pleased to be able to contribute a gift for these exceptional young adults".

Kids Inspiring Kindness

Using our "big blue button" to count in 30 blankets made by these 3rd graders and their class at Big Walnut Elementary School in Westerville, Ohio as part of their Kids Inspiring Kindness program. The group chose to support MVOB and funded the blankets with community support and a kindness t-shirt design contest. Many thanks!

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints

partners with MVOB across the U.S.

The "small but mighty" youth group and leaders at St. Petersburg, Florida Ward of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints made 10 fleece blankets. "The youth were very keen on the idea of doing something to help bring comfort to other teens! Many thanks!".

Through the LDS Church's website, Just Serve, MVOB is reaching people all over the U.S. We are extremely grateful for this partnership.

Sandra, president of the Relief Society of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints delivered 14 blankets to the Children Services Dept. in Paris, TN. “All the ladies were excited and spirit filled to be able to participate in this worthy project. Thank you for the opportunity to serve!”

2021..."Thanksgiving Together"

More than 160 older youth and former foster youth, their guests and chosen families shared an early Thanksgiving dinner November 14th, hosted by ACTION Ohio – Alumni of Care Together Improving Outcomes Now.

MVOB Offers "Jobs" to ORW Inmates

Seven inmates at the Ohio Reformatory for Women have unique jobs making quilts for children entering foster care. Jessica Rudolph recently visited these Blanket Angels to receive 20 blankets made by the group and talk with them about the importance of their work.
