We hope this letter finds you and your family well during these unprecedented times. In an effort to be prepared to continue our leadership development opportunities for local youth and to keep vital Council services going, we are asking you to consider making a donation now and not delaying until a later time in the year.

With the safety of our Scouts, volunteers, families and staff at the forefront, we are postponing numerous events and have had to cancel many Family Friends of Scouting presentations. If you are able, we are hoping you will make your donation sooner than later so that we can assure there is no interruption for programming when quarantines and social distancing is over.

Thank you for your continued support of Scouting in the Greater St Louis Area Council. Friends of Scouting helps provide the skills kids need to spark success while they also have fun and try new things. Whether it’s building science and math skills, learning the value of hard work, or just having a positive role model, Scouting lays the foundation for kids to turn their dreams into realities. No matter where life takes them, Scouts have the confidence to make their mark on the world – today and for life.

To make all this happen, we rely on the generosity of donors like you who share our vision. Membership fees do not support the local programming of Scouting. Donors like you do! This year, and now more than ever, we need your help.

The money raised through this campaign creates opportunities for learning and growth that foster and strengthen self-confidence, ethics, respect for others, academic skills and leadership abilities.  It’s more than a gift – it’s an investment in our future.  Thank you for your consideration of this request.

Yours in Scouting,
