Message from Emeline Foster
Executive Director
French-American Foundation - US
First, I would like to thank you for being so supportive of our work during this challenging year. As a team of six at the French-American Foundation, we shifted everything from one day to the next to be able to offer you valuable, noteworthy content throughout the pandemic. We’ve been thrilled to see so many new and familiar faces make the transition with us to a new online platform, from Transatlantic Forum members and Young Leaders to friends of the Foundation and new partners. It was our goal to offer our signature informative tone while staying a big, supportive family, and we’re proud to have continued to provide you with topical content and access to high level speakers.
We’ve made a promise to keep it up, too. We have many great events to look forward toward in the coming months. We had an amazing Young Leaders program, we have a wonderful speaker for our upcoming Transatlantic Forum, and we're organizing a series of public webinars addressing public policy, transatlantic business, and more in the weeks to come.
We understood in the early months of the pandemic that it was complicated to ask for your financial support. But as we enter the end of the year, we’re relying on the generosity of our wider community to sustain our efforts to strengthen ties between France and the US. With the cancellation of our annual Gala, we can’t do it without you. That’s why we are launching our 2020 fundraising drive.
Any amount you can give is helpful. While it might not seem that way, even small donations from a greater number of people can provide us with the necessary funding to reach our goal.
We look forward to continuing this work with all of you. The collaborative spirit of the French-American Foundation is at the core of our work. If you have any ideas or questions, don’t hesitate to reach out to me directly. We are here for you!
Sincerely,
Emeline Foster
Executive Director
