Forest Fires are Just a Spark Away:
Please Keep your Customers Informed
A photo provided to us by Chamber member Myra Canyon Adventure Park reminds us of the currently dry (and precarious) landscape surrounding Kelowna.  We kindly ask that you consider placing a poster in your place of business or posting on your social media, reminding customers of the dangers of tossing lit cigarette butts out of windows, lighting campfires, etc.

More than one million hectares of land burned last year in British Columbia, and as locals, it is our duty to protect our community by keeping visitors aware and informed, as well as remembering to take proper precautions ourselves.

Kudos to the City of Kelowna for their quick reaction in sending out crews to Myra Canyon for forest fire prevention clean up.
The Chamber is Still Open for Business
Although Tourism Kelowna's Visitor Centre has recently relocated to their new waterfront location, the Kelowna Chamber of Commerce is still in the same location on Harvey Avenue and Ellis Street.

As we are currently in search of a new tenant our front doors are locked, but we are open for business! Just come 'round to the side door and our Chamber staff will be  happy to assist you.
