The 2022 Currahee Military Weekend will continue the tradition! Their Board of Directors has agreed to move forward most of the events for the weekend. After confirming with our emergency management team, United States forest service, and classic race services, the Currahee Challenge 5K / 10K has been canceled. T-shirts will be mailed to those who registered for the race. Currahee Military Weekend starts on Thursday, September 29, 2022 and will continue through Sunday, October 2, 2022. Join us for this special weekend! Stay tuned for any inclement weather updates.

Friends of the Ritz.

The next Friends of the Ritz Board of Directors meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, October 25th, 2022 at 7pm inside the Toccoa-Stephens County Library Meeting Room. All meetings are open to the public.

Your annual $36 individual membership or $65 family membership supports the Historic Ritz Theatre by providing supplemental funding for additional programming, marketing support, and capital improvement projects, plus the cost is tax deductible.

Main Street Toccoa is a municipal organization formed to make the downtown district the economic and cultural center of the community. The overall objective is to improve the viability and appearance of the downtown and to stimulate the long-term reinvestment through business recruitment and retention, all within the context of historic preservation.
