Washington State Governor Jay Inslee received the Seattle Latino Chamber of Commerce led by our president and founder, Marcos Wanless, to extend his congratulations and recognition for having been selected as the best chamber in the United States among 260 Hispanic chambers nationwide.

At the meeting, President Wanless reiterated the importance of furthering our WA300ZIP proposal that would facilitate the acquisition of commercial vehicles for small businesses in the state with a voucher that covers up to 80% of the cost, to which the governor gladly agreed since he himself proposed an investment for this purpose in his annual budget.

Marcos Wanless also seized the opportunity to announce the upcoming opening of the Latino Chamber of Commerce serving the City of Tacoma and Pierce County, in association with the organization Mi Centro.

El gobernador del estado de Washington, Jay Inslee, recibió a la Cámara de Comercio Latina de Seattle y King County, encabezada por nuestro presidente y fundador Marcos Wanless para extender una felicitación y su reconocimiento por haber sido seleccionada como la mejor Cámara de Estados Unidos entre 260 cámaras Hispanas a nivel nacional.

En la reunión, el presidente Wanless reiteró la importancia de impulsar la propuesta WA300ZIP, que busca facilitar la adquisición de vehículos eléctricos a pequeños negocios mediante la concesión de vouchers del estado que cubrirían hasta el 80% del costo total del vehículo. El gobernador se mostró entusiasta, sobre todo considerando que él mismo destinó recursos para una inversión de este tipo en su presupuesto anual.

Marcos Wanless aprovechó la oportunidad para anunciar la próxima apertura de la Cámara de Comercio Latina para la ciudad de Tacoma y el Condado de Pierce, en asociación con la Organización Mi Centro.
