Celebrating National Native American Heritage Month

Our gratitude to everyone who joined us for the Saukiog Harvest Festival!

It was a beautiful day of sharing and learning in community. Our goal was to create space and a gathering to come together and celebrate, recognize, and honor the history, art, food, music, cultures, traditions, and Indigenous beliefs of the Hartford and Connecticut Tribes and to preserve the legacy of Indigenous ancestors. Many thanks to all who joined us!

The events include a family food distribution and partnership with area community based organizations to offer information on social support and other services available to the local community.
