HAPPY HOLIDAYS!

Our Wish for You in 2020!
|
Yes, it's that time of year! Between the holiday coffee beverages, the decorations that let us know presents are on the way, and the ugly sweaters that everyone gets to pull out of their closet - it's obvious that it's the season of merriment, joy, and giving.
Our wish for you is that you are healthy, happy, and that housing is never an issue.
For many of our residents, the holidays are a challenging time because negative memories can be triggered, or they may have wonderful memories but it's a reminder of what that person no longer has. At the very least, we know they have a safe place to call home and that we provide as much support at this time as we can.
We would love to to just wish you happy holidays without the plug for donations, but, we really are excited about the programs we hope to provide for our residents in 2020! And they can only happy with your support. We rely on unrestricted funds to help us with Welcome Home Kits, occupational therapy for seniors, nutritional cooking classes, and so much more to fill the gaps where residents need the support to stay housed and improve their health.
We hope you'll
listen to Christina's story
and see why it's important to never give up on our neighbors on the streets and why permanent supportive housing is critical to ending homelessness.

RICH CITY POOR MAN!
|
THANK YOU to everyone who joined us for RICH CITY | POOR MAN last weekend. The free 3-day photojournalism exhibit and event by
Daniel Dart
covered everything from mental health, life after incarceration, violence and trauma, to how we can use storytelling to shift the mindset about homelessness and solutions. And there was so much more!
We thank Daniel Dart and his phenomenal team for bringing us onto the event, and for highlighting all the complex layers that go into addressing homelessness. And big thank you to ACE Hotel for graciously hosting everyone last weekend!
