FROM THE DIRECTORS...
Greetings! 

As the year comes to a close, and with Chanukah right around the corner, we'd like to take this opportunity to recognize Chabad of Rockville donors and volunteers who help turn a dream into a reality every single day.

A young Rabbi and his wife arrive in town—armed with a mission to provide a Jewish Community Safety Net, addressing physical and spiritual needs of community members and their families—but they’re never alone. That’s us, here in Rockville we can honestly say, we’ve never been alone.

Each month, caring Chabad of Rockville donors jump on the opportunity to generously donate toward these vital efforts to be there for the Jewish community, many, repeatedly donating throughout the year. And still some, answering the call for help from community members in need, donate each and every month. 

Since Chabad of Rockville’s very first program, a Menorah Lighting in Rockville Town Square ten years ago, energetic community members have stepped up to volunteer help at every one of our programs. And now, with a pandemic still at large and a greater awareness of food insecurity, Chabad of Rockville volunteers show up week after week to assist with Bags of Hope food collections and distributions. 

Never have we felt alone in our holy work. We have an army of friends and partners, Maccabees, loyally and fiercely supporting Chabad of Rockville all along the way. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

You have so much to be proud of! Wishing you and yours a very Happy Chanukah,

Can you guess what's inside the Talit? The BECO Beis Medrash Torah was a central part our Shabbat Service and Social at the The Grand this past week! A room full of Jewish residents at the Wisconsin and Grand buildings, were so appreciative for letting us borrow it.
