Here to serve in troubled times

Dear Friends of District 8,
The coronavirus crisis has changed life for all of us in different ways, large and small.
To better understand how families in our district are coping with the economic and public health impacts,
we put together a short survey seeking your input.
Please take the survey.
And next Wednesday, April 29 at 6 pm, I'll be hosting a
telephone town hall to talk about how impacted small businesses can apply for federal aid, and to engage you in a conversation about reopening parts of the economy.
Register here for the town hall

As the conversation begins to turn toward what comes next, I believe it's vitally important that we strive for a new approach – recognizing the underlying disparities this pandemic has magnified, and working to build a fairer economy that lifts up everyone.
Read my op/ed for the Miami Herald.
Yours in community,
Daniella
