Once a week, every Monday morning, all Shepherd ISD administrators and department heads participate in a Leadership Team Meeting. This is a time for each staff member to share and discuss what is happening within each area of the district. We are a TEAM and we will continue to help and support one another for the success of all Shepherd ISD students.

What a great day Saturday was for the Shepherd FFA Alumni Progress show. We had 28 entries this year from Jr. exhibitors to high school students that will be competing at the San Jacinto County Fair in September. It was a great pleasure to be able to put on this show in order for students to receive the show experience to prepare for the fair. Thank you to everyone that came to support the students.

JROTC would like to introduce the leadership of the Pirate Battalion. Monika Lopez (middle), is the cadet Battalion Commander, Juan Pena (right), is the cadet Command Sergeant Major, and Britany Navarrete (left), is the cadet Battalion Executive Officer. These three exhibit dedication and knowledge to lead the program. Please welcome our command team!

SMS celebrated our guest teachers for substitute appreciation week

with a PIZZA lunch.

Shepherd Intermediate will be celebrating Grandparent's Day on September 9, 2022 with a fabulous lunch!

Please pre-register and pay for your lunch ($4.50) in the front office of the Intermediate from 8am-3pm beginning now until September 7th. Badges for entry will be sent home September 8th.

We look forward to seeing you all and celebrating the amazing grandparents in our community!
