Happy, Healthy and Safe Holiday Season.
OSBORN HOLIDAY ANGELS BACK FOR THE SIXTH YEAR!

Our Holiday Angels from the Osborn School continued with their yearly tradition of supporting the Carver Center. They collected 400 gift cards that were distributed this holiday season to our children and teens.
FEEDING OUR COMMUNITY IN MANY WAYS

Turkeys and all the trimmings
Thanksgiving holiday distributions were made to 779 Port Chester families.

Carver Market numbers
In the month of November, we distributed food to 1,182 children, 1,320 adults, and 417 seniors.

Carver Food Service Program
We served 441 snacks and 8,082 meals to approximately 800 After School students at the four Port Chester Elementary Schools, the Port Chester Middle School, and to the teens who come to our Teen Center. Each meal consists of 5 important food components: vegetables, fruit, whole grains, meat/meat substitute and milk.
RYE BROOK CUB SCOUTS PACK #3 - GIVING BACK

We received a wonderful donation of non-perishable, holiday food items from the boys and girls of the Rye Brook Cub Scout Pack #3. They were eager to learn all about the important work that we do for the community.
RYE AND PORT CHESTER-RYE BROOK ROTARY CLUBS JOIN FORCES

Our friends from the Rye and Port Chester Rye Brook Rotary Clubs were back this year to help our community. They collected over 1,000 diapers and 285 pounds of food for our families. (pictured from l - r, Rita Tino/Rye Rotary Club, Gina Nocco and Mike Williams/Carver Team members.)
FROM OUR CITIZENSHIP CLASSES TO BECOMING U.S. CITIZENS

72 students who participated in our Citizenship Classes this year passed their naturalization exams to become new U.S. citizens. We are so proud of all of them.

Congratulations to one of our students, Cecilia Garcia, who passed her exam in November.
NEW ENGLAND LAND COMPANY LIFTS THE HEAVY LOAD FOR OUR CARVER MARKET

Six volunteers from the New England Land Co. in Greenwich, CT volunteered with us recently. They helped move a roomful of food back into the Carver Market, and then organized, sorted and shelved all of those food items. This is one of the many steps we are taking to re-open the Carver Market for client choice, self-shopping in early 2022.
CARVER CENTER TEEN SCHOLARS JOIN FORCES WITH GARCIA'S AT THE CAPITOL THEATRE

Our Carver Scholars are collaborating with the Port Chester Capitol Theatre for a Supply Drive to collect art supplies for children's programming. (papers, paints, construction paper, markers.)

Donations are being accepted the night of Stella Blue's Band performance at Garcia's on December 22 & 23, 145 Westchester Avenue, Port Chester.
