MAY 30, 2025

Hello Saint Martin’s!

It has been such a great joy to work with our children, youth, teachers and leaders. And I know that you love our kids too. We get to celebrate them this Sunday! That’s right, it’s Youth Sunday at the 10:00 a.m. service. The children will be singing a song, we’ll have youth ushers, youth readers, and our very own graduating senior, Porter Hill will be giving the sermon. And we’ll get to express our gratitude and appreciation for all our Sunday School teachers, Children’ Chapel leaders and Youth Leaders.

This will be a very special Sunday. I pray that you will come out and support Porter and all our wonderful young people offering themselves in worship and service to Christ. Plus, there’s going to be ice cream!

Many thanks to all who have supported our children’s and youth ministries in so many ways from cooking chili to buying gift cards to teaching and leading or just getting your kid out of bed on a Sunday morning! It means a lot. It means a lot to the faith of our young people. It means a lot to me. And it means a lot to Jesus, who calls us to pass on the faith that has been given to us.

I’ll see you Sunday!

Yours in Christ,

~ Rev. Nathan Erdman, Associate Rector and Chaplain

We will not hide them from their children; we will tell to the coming generation the glorious deeds of the Lord, and his might, and the wonders that he has done.

~ Psalm 78:4
