Life is a process of change, of crossing thresholds.
A leaf grows, a leaf falls. Daylight gives way to night, night to daylight. Snow melts, water freezes into ice. As we look around us, we become conscious that we are on a journey of transformation in a world on a journey of evolution. The child in us evolves into the more mature us. Sometimes it is hard to let go, other times we can’t wait to step into a new moment of time and explore the new world on the other side of now. But it is all now, all constant new moments to become afresh and anew.
The end of one cycle of time through the cosmic zodiac is a particular time for us to reflect on how the new emerges out of the old, how we are forever young and evolving despite the passage of time. We are on a journey, a journey of discovery of self, a discovery of the power of our connection with all of creation, of our capacity for love and connection.
May this new year bring you more wonder, joy, love and
connection through the coming changes.
May you rise each day refreshed and filled with a sense of discovery of
what each day, each new world offers, amidst the falling away of the old making way for the emergence of the new.
