"I Am Forever Grateful" Why I Give

by Frances Vasquez

This Christmas, we are delighted to shine a spotlight on a truly remarkable supporter of the Sisters of Social Service, Frances Vasquez. Frances’s unwavering dedication and compassionate spirit have profoundly enriched our community, and we are deeply grateful for her continued commitment.

Sr. Celine Vasquez

“I had an aunt who was a Sister of Social Service: Sr. Celine Vasquez. I support the Sisters of Social Service because I am forever grateful for the profound role they played in my family’s moral and religious formation, and for their unwavering commitment to advocating for peace and justice for the common good—especially for youth and those living in poverty. My parents were humble Mexican immigrants who deeply valued the opportunities the Sisters provided, including Easter Egg Hunts at 1120 Westchester Place and time at Camp Mariastella in Wrightwood. Thank you for enriching my life and the lives of so many others."

"May God continue to bless the Sisters.
