Two weeks ago, a winter storm left Texas in a state of emergency. Families are still recovering as the cold weather caused pipelines to break, properties to flood, power outages, and a statewide water shortage.
Last Thursday, WeLoveU announced its emergency water distribution plan in partnership with WSS and Reebok. More than 5,000 water cases, or 120,000 water bottles, were distributed to families in need in Arlington, Dallas, and Houston over two days.
Thank you to our incredible partners, donors, and volunteers for making this emergency relief effort possible. WeLoveU volunteers from Texas and across the country joined in handing out water at participating WSS stores.
