What's Happening at Weaver!
PTA will be hosting a special 30 minute PTA general meeting on Thursday 12/20 at 8:15am and will include coffee and holiday treats. 
You may bring your desserts for the teacher holiday luncheon to this meeting or drop off at Vicky Vu’s home on Wednesday after school.

The Giving Tree
What is The Giving Tree?
It's a way to celebrate your child's birthday at school. 
Reminder: Birthday celebrations are not permitted during the school day. Treats for the classroom are also not permitted.
How do you sign up?
NEW! Sign up online.  Go to under programs- giving tree and click on the link. It's as easy as that to sign up, or you can fill out the order form and submit a check for $15.00 made out to Weaver PTA. Drop it off in the The Giving Tree box in the front office no later than the 1st Monday of your child's birthday month. (July & August are due by 8/20/18 and May & June are due by 5/6/19) We suggest you submit the form now so that you don't miss this great opportunity to celebrate your child's birthday. Please contact with any questions.

LAEF Spring After-School Enrichment Classes
Saddle up to our new “Wild Wild West” classes! Sign up at . Classes begin January 22nd and LAEF is proud to provide two FREE French classes for 2 nd graders ! There is also NEW reduced pricing for all other language classes! This is an experience your children will not want to miss
The classes available at Weaver are Creative Drama, Crochet – Fun with Yarn, Engineering with LEGO, French, Golf, Gymnastics, Jiu Jitsu, LEGO Academy, Magic, Mandarin, Musical Theatre – “Wild West Song & Dance,” Origami, Skateboarding, Speech and Debate, Wild West Science, and World Dance.   Multi-class discounts available – 10% off the 2nd class and 15% off any class thereafter. It is applied to a family or individual student. Class fee increases after January 16th.

Why not try or dering gift cards through SCRIP’s?
SCRIP is a FOW program that gives back to the school. It’s simple, why not give it a try? Last year we earned over $500, Thank you!

It's time to register or re-register your Ralph's card!
Did you know that Weaver benefits from the shopping you do every day? If you or someone you know shops at Ralph's, it's easy to get money back for our school.
Simply register your Ralph's card at  or call  800-443-4438 . But remember, you MUST re-register every September/Fall even if you have registered before. Be sure to get family and friends to register too! Friends of Weaver's number is TV093.

Weaver Families! Thank you for your hard work. Our Summer Box Tops totaled to $500.00. Awesome job cutting and collecting! Our goal this year is $1000.00 or more.  
These funds help our school with new resources and help our children grow in their educational experience.
  We will be collecting more box tops year round, so please keep sending them to school. Thank you!
