Adopt A Pet Today from the Lassen County Animal Shelter – Sassy
Little Sassy is cute as a button and she’s waiting at the Lassen County Animal Shelter to find her new forever home.

Sassy is a 3-year-old Australian shepherd mix. She’s compact, full of playful energy, and she sure has a lot to say when she gets excited. At first, Sassy can be a bit shy, but it doesn’t take her long to warm up to new faces.

This sweet girl is dog social (further evaluation will be done), however, her new home needs to be without cats or other small animals. Sassy is spayed, microchipped, and looking to make her stay at the Lassen County Animal Shelter a short one.
If interested in meeting Sassy, please call the staff at (530) 257-9200. In observance of President’s Day, the shelter will be closed Monday, Feb. 21st, and will be open again on Tuesday, Feb. 22nd.
Featured animals at the Lassen County Animal Shelter are available for adoption on a first-come-first-serve basis. According to California law, all adoptable dogs and cats must be spayed and neutered before leaving our facility. If interested in adopting an animal, please contact the shelter directly.

Current shelter hours during the COVID-19 pandemic are Monday through Friday, 9:00a.m. to 3:00p.m. Closed Saturday and Sunday. You can contact the shelter at 257-9200.
