Adopt A Pet from the Lassen

County Animal Shelter – Kizzy

Hi, I’m Kizzy, a spunky Lab/Border Collie mix with energy to spare and a heart full of love! At about 7 months old, I’m always ready for my next adventure—whether it’s hiking, running, or learning something new. If you’re looking for a partner to keep up with your active lifestyle, I’m your girl!

I get along great with other dogs and would love a canine buddy to play with. Because of my high energy and zest for life, I’d do best in a home with older kids who can join in on the fun. I’m smart, eager to please, and happiest when I have a job to do or a game to play.

If you’re an active family looking for a loyal, adventurous companion, I’d love to meet you. Let’s tackle life’s adventures together—what do you say?

Kizzy is spayed, up to date on her vaccinations, and heartworm negative. Please contact the Lassen County Animal Shelter with questions/inquiries at 1.530.257.9200.

Featured animals at the Lassen County Animal Shelter are available for adoption on a first-come-first-serve basis. According to California law, all adoptable dogs and cats must be spayed and neutered before leaving our facility. If interested in adopting an animal, please contact the shelter directly.

Current shelter hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00a.m. to 3:00p.m. Closed Saturday and Sunday. You can contact the shelter at 530.257.9200.

In addition to the dinner, raffle tickets and donation envelopes will be available for purchase, with raffle tickets priced at $5 each or 5 for $20.

How You Can Help

Event organizer Terra Avilla is looking for donations of raffle items from local businesses and individuals to help raise money for the family.

“Gift certificates, raffle baskets – we would like bigger items to draw attention, coolers, grills, yard stuff, spa stuff, ” explains Avilla, “but even the mom who just wants to go and put together like a luxury basket of candles and blankets and fuzzy socks from Marshalls really helps.”

If you would like to contribute a raffle item, cash or want more information call Avilla at 1.775.771.7876.
