Webelos Woods is here! Time to register for this terrific Scouting event!
September 29: Webelos Woods!
What is Webelos Woods?
Webelos Woods is a day of fun activities, Scoutcraft demonstrations and outdoor adventures to introduce Webelos to Boy Scout activities and youth leadership in action! It is also a chance for the Webelos (and their parents!) to get to know local Boy Scout Troops as the Webelos prepare to transition to Boy Scouts.

The Boy Scout Troops will host lunch on Saturday for this day-only event. No matter whether you come with your whole Webelos Den, or come on your own,  it will be an experience that will long be remembered.
Where is Webelos Woods?
Webelos Woods 2018 will be held at Camp Mabry near downtown Austin. Check out the convenient drive via Google Maps.
When is Webelos Woods?
Webelos Woods is held on Saturday, September 29. Webelos and their parent(s) should arrive by 8:00 AM Saturday morning, as our opening ceremony starts at 9:00 AM, and Camp Mabry, as an active military installation, requires check-in and identification at the main gate. There will be a day of fun ahead of them, and the event ends at 2:00 PM. Webelos may leave during the day for other commitments if needed!

Unlike some previous years, this year's Webelos Woods is a day-only event, and camping will not be taking place.
How can I learn more about Webelos Woods?
Visit our District Webelos Woods web page for all the details. There you may download a complete information packet, check out the schedule, and find the registration link.
How is Webelos Woods handling "Girls in Scouting"?
While we will not have any girl troops for you to visit at Webelos Woods, come out and visit our Girls in Scouting Info Tent to talk to girl troop leaders, ask your questions and register your interest in joining a girls troop in the Bee Cave District. Rest assured that our district will have one or more girl troops ready for you to join on February 1st when registration goes live!
Registration for Webelos Woods
Individual Registration is required for Webelos to attend Webelos Woods; we ask that you register by 11:00 PM Wednesday, September 26, to aid the Boy Scout Troops to shop for food and supplies for the appropriate number of people.
