Description:

This virtual workshop is pertinent to clients and students of all ages, especially during this stressful time. Puppets and dolls in hand encourage healing through narrative, dialogue, monologue, in play therapy. The metaphors are dynamic soothing balm. Puppets/Dolls invite psycho-education about Denial, Anger, Bargaining, Depression, Acceptance, and eventually Finding Meaning.

Any type of mental health provider including play therapist or educator has had personal experience with or come across a student or client who is suffering due to grief or loss. In your virtual, or live clinical space, play therapy sessions or classroom you will be able to help transform pain into relief by utilizing the simple techniques provided. Each of you will be given personal feedback about your use of Puppets/Dolls to encourage and guide you.
