Session Description:
The Rehabilitation Act of 1973, as amended by Title IV of the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) of 2014, emphasizes Competitive Integrated Employment as the preferred Transition outcome for students with disabilities. Despite clear guidance in the regulations as to what constitutes Competitive Integrated Employment, confusion and misconceptions still exist. Join this webinar to learn:
*    How Competitive Integrated Employment is defined
*    Ways to support students to achieve this as a Transition outcome
*    How Montana schools can use Pre-Employment Transition Services funding to help their students realize Competitive Integrated Employment in the community

Presenter:
Ellen Condon, Director of the Pre-Employment Transition Services Technical Assistance Center, Transition and Employment Projects, and Montana Deaf-Blind Project at the University of Montana's Rural Institute for Inclusive Communities
