Who should attend?

This course is designed to help human resource professionals and business owners (from small to medium-sized businesses) navigate the workplace challenges presented by COVID-19.

Each individual 2-part session is limited to 25 participants to ensure that there will be adequate time to address individual questions. Sessions will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis and are anticipated to fill quickly.
What will be covered?

This 2-part webinar will include an overview of the following topics:

  • First Coronavirus Response Act (FFCRA or Act) and employer obligations
  • Navigating the new unemployment requirements for employers, including the Voluntary Shared Work program
  • Paid leave
  • Employee communications
  • CDC and Risk Assessment guidelines - working with employee exposure and employees who have tested positive
  • Managing remote employees
  • Planning layoffs
  • Wage and payroll changes
