Sarah Chart is a health care professional with over twenty years of experience in medical education. In her role as Vice President of Optum Health Education (OHE), Sarah leads a team that is responsible for the development and implementation of accredited educational activities for healthcare professionals on evidence-based and emerging clinical topics in complex medical conditions, behavioral health and the advancement of health equity.
OHE is a jointly accredited medical education company dedicated to providing interprofessional continuing education that improves patient outcomes and positively impacts the delivery of health care. In 2022 over 90,000 continuing education certificates were received by learners worldwide through OHE’s live onsite conferences, webinars and on-demand web-based activities.
OHE works diligently to foster the professional development of engaged, lifelong learners who seek to advance the skills, strategy and/or performance relevant to their clinical practice and/or their role within the health care team.
In her role, Sarah interfaces with key nationally recognized opinion leaders and collaborates with clients throughout the UnitedHealth Group Enterprise and externally to advance initiatives through the development of high-quality educational activities. Sarah has been with UnitedHealth Group since 1994, previously working as a registered nurse case manager and account manager prior to moving to OHE.
