Part III- PARENTS WEBINAR: FOOD & MOOD, INFLAMMATION & IMMUNITY

 
This is a webinar for parents of children (all ages) suffering from neuropsychiatric symptoms such as seizures, attention deficits, cognitive deficits, tics, uncontrolled anger, migraines, headaches or body aches, addictions, eating disorders, depression, and anxiety.

The content of the webinar is especially relevant for children with diagnoses of OCD, selective eating and sensory processing difficulties, PANS/PANDAS/AE, Sensory Processing Disorders (SPD), Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), anxiety, depression, conduct disorder, Disruptive Mood Dysregulation Disorder (DMDD), etc.

This 75 min webinar will provide parents and caregivers with information essential to understanding how food and lifestyle affect mood (feelings, focus, attention, retention), and how inflammation and immune system activation are linked to neuropsychiatric symptoms and what is needed to establish sustainability.

Objectives of the webinar:
1) Provide basic information about the brain-gut axis, inflammation, and immunity.
2) Provide information about methylation, mitochondria, psychobiotics, and CBD and how they relate to mental health and overall health.
3) Describe how stress affects the gut and self-regulation.
4) Review routines that facilitate sustainability and stability.

Target audience
