Determining Rural Communities: Current Changes and Updated Federal Program Eligibility
Dear Rural Health Partners,

In collaboration with the Federal Office of Rural Health Policy (FORHP), NOSORH invites you to a special webinar on March 11 as we explore various definitions of “rural” and how that impacts program eligibility for FORHP programs.
At the conclusion of the webinar, participants will be able to:
  • Examine recent changes to the FORHP definitions of ‘rural’ for eligibility of grant programs.
  • Discuss Metropolitan and Micropolitan Statistical Areas (MSA/MiSA) and Urbanized Areas (UA).
  • Examine the relationship between MSA, MiSA, UA and Federal program eligibility.

This webinar is open to all interested stakeholders, including: rural and urban health stakeholders, local public health departments, state health care associations, and more. Feel free to share this invitation with others who may be interested.

Thursday, March 11, at 3:00 pm ET/2:00 pm CT/1:00 pm MT/12:00 pm PT
