The certified results of the 2021 ICC code update cycle have been posted and the IECC Commercial proposal requiring removable jacketing for pipe insulation was  defeated (CE150). This is great news as the proposal initially passed in committee voting, but failed to meet the 50% threshold needed to pass in final online voting due to opposition from NIA, its member companies, and the insulation industry.
