Access to Mental Health and Substance Use Care
Results from the 2022 Access to Care survey, conducted by The Harris Poll for The National Council for Mental Wellbeing, provide data on access to needed mental health or substance use care and sheds light on the numerous barriers to such care.
Studies from Accrediting Bodies Support the Value of Accreditation!
A recent study of Joint Commission accredited organizations by the ROI Institute indicated an average lifetime ROI of 623% for behavioral health and human services organizations. The study showed that for every dollar invested in improving quality and safety, organizations saw that dollar returned plus $6.23 more. Click here for more information: Accreditation that Delivers | The Joint Commission.

Past studies by the Council on Accreditation (a division of Social Current) and CARF International support positive ROI in the areas of improved outcomes, quality of services and an increase in persons served and annual budget dollars.
