SCORE's Webmaster Update

March 16, 2023

Mentor Matchmaker

We are looking forward to launching the Mentor Matchmaker tool on our website this month. Thank you to those that have already provided feedback on this new functionality. As an update, we decided to postpone the release based on volunteer feedback until it is functioning as intended. If you are interested in testing this functionality before its launch, please email [email protected] and we will share further information with dates, times and directions.

Please take a look at the Mentor Matchmaker Functionality Guide to see how this tool will perform when it is live.

Aten Design Group Introduction

Exciting news! We have a new website growth & support vendor to help us with website enhancements and other development needs moving forward. Our new vendor is Aten Design Group, and we’ve already started the transition between Phase2 and our new vendor. For transparency, Phase2 will still be in the picture for the next few weeks to support Aten's onboarding.

We’re very excited to have Aten as a partner; however, if you or anyone at your chapter has concerns or questions, please send those to [email protected] instead of reaching out to Aten. You can view Aten's Support Engagement Proposal for more information about our new partner.

Please note that you will still work directly with Ecropolis for any website needs. As a reminder, you can send those requests to [email protected].

Future Webmaster Webinar Topics

In an effort to ensure we are making the most of our monthly webmaster webinars, you can now submit ideas and topics you would like covered during future webinars. This can be topics that you want to discuss in detail, website or chapter “wins” that could benefit the group, website enhancement ideas that you want to discuss with other webmasters for their feedback or if there is something you would like to train others on as it relates to functionality, workflows and metrics.

All of your ideas will be considered and, again, this will ensure that our meetings are highly productive moving forward. You can visit www.score.org/webmasterwebinar to share your ideas.

Google Analytics 4 Feedback/Enhancement Survey

We have received your feedback about the GA4 dashboards and rollout and it’s clear that we need to connect on a) what you want to see on your chapter’s dashboard and b) if you would prefer View access on the GA4 platform. We understand this has caused disruptions in reporting on paid campaigns. You may receive communication from the Field Marketing team about accepting a Google request from our paid ad vendor. Accepting that request will assist in pulling paid activity and performance into your GA4 dashboard.

Please complete this survey and provide details about what is important for you and your chapter to have represented in your dashboards.

Website Enhancements

Please continue to submit any website enhancements you would like to see or bugs you come across through the Website Enhancement Request Form. We are actively working to prioritize these requests. You also have the option to view all the requests that have been submitted. You can also access the request form in the Support Center.

You can also view our latest website enhancement release notes to see development progress.

If you were unable to participate in last week’s Webmaster Webinar or if you would like to review the information presented, the recording and presentation slides are linked below, as well as a post-event survey.
