VBS has come and gone! Like every other year, we are left feeling truly humbled and grateful for the many people who volunteered and helped make VBS happen.
We were so encouraged by the amazing support of Knollwood Community Church for our VBS program this year. From folks who volunteered to work directly with the kids, to those who donated supplies, contributed to the mission project, and prayed for us faithfully, day after day - we couldn't have done it without you!
We had 170 children register for VBS, and over 80 volunteers helped us prepare for, and run, VBS. Eight children indicated that they made a decision to trust Jesus with their lives, and 8 indicated that they have more questions and want to know more about having a relationship with Jesus!
We were able to raise approximately $500 for our VBS Mission Project! All of that money will go to pay for the meals that we will pack as a church in November, which will feed local families in our area that struggle to make ends meet.
But most importantly, we had some children who decided to follow Jesus during VBS. We planted the seeds of God's Word in the hearts of all the children that attended, and we will trust God to do the work of making those seeds grow. We are thankful that God allowed us all to be part of that process.
We are so thankful for everyone who helped us POWER UP this VBS. It truly was a team effort, and it's a team we are so proud to be a part of. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you!
