Preschool Registration
Knollwood Preschool registration is now open to our church family. We offer two, three, and five-day programs for children ages 3-5.

January Mission Focus-Children's Vision International, Inc. (CVII)
CVII is an international, non-profit, non-governmental organization whose purpose is to help the needy and homeless around the world. Their primary location is in Bogota, Colombia where they are currently working on completing their 5th home for abandoned and homeless children.
Founded by Jeanene Thicke-Sanderson in 1993 with a simple burden in her heart to help children in need, the program in Bogota has now grown to house, clothe, feed and love 200 + children daily.
As a church family, not only does Knollwood support CVII with occasional one-time financial gifts for special needs, but on a yearly basis we also support two specific children from the children's home in Bogota.
This past May, the children at Knollwood took time during the regular Sunday morning children's ministry to learn about these two children and then made some personal cards to send with our yearly birthday and Christmas gifts from the church.
Please continue to pray for our two sponsored children, Valeria and Andres, (pictured below) as well as all the children and staff in the CVII homes in Bogota.

This Sunday!
Breakfast & Games - January 26
Grades 7-12 are invited to meet up before the worship service from 9:00-10:00 a.m. for breakfast and games in the KSM room.
Service Sunday - January 26
There will be NO KSM on January 26. Instead, students are invited to attend the worship service or to volunteer in a ministry. Contact Mary Mendez ([email protected]) if you need help finding a place to volunteer.

this series, we want to help students see that Jesus changes everything and the he uses ordinary people to do it.
Sunday, February 9 - KSM Bowling
Grades 7-12 are invited to a night out of bowling at Bowl America Burke. Bring a friend! Please RSVP by Wednesday, February 5 at the link that will be emailed to parents. Bring $15 cash (covers two games of bowling, shoes, and food) or make your check payable to KCC (note to KSM Events). Don't let the fee stop you from coming. We have scholarships.

Stretch Your Faith 2020 - Join Us Now
Improve your physical and spiritual fitness this year.
Winter Quarter
Jan 7 to April 2 - Tuesdays at 6:15 pm and Thursdays 1:30 pm in the Fellowship Center.
Winter scripture focus is Strong and Fearless.
Classes are for adult men and women looking to improve fitness and find stress relief while giving glory to the Lord. This is an "all levels" class so beginners will feel right at home. This ministry is a Christian-based class taught by Sandy Rogers and Natalie Sarigianis, certified yoga instructors from the Christian ministry Holy Yoga (for mission statement, visit

Inclement Weather
As we head into the winter season, please note:
If there is a need to cancel Sunday activities due to snow, a notice to that effect will be on the Knollwood website. Click on the word "ALERTS" at the top right portion of the home page. It will also be posted on our Facebook page (
@KnollwoodCC)
If we cancel, the notice will be posted as soon as we make that decision. If no cancellation notice is there, we will have services as usual. (Hopefully we will be able to make that decision by Saturday evening).
During the week, the church follows the Fairfax County Public School lead. If the schools close, then any regularly scheduled meetings, Bible studies, etc. will be cancelled.
