  • Please note these all close at 6PM. And you can not get your packet prior to November 20th.
  • Please go to pre-race packet pickup versus wait until race day. Staffing is limited on race day, thus you will be waiting. Others can pick up your packet for you.

Day of Packet Pickup - Please do not wait until race day to alleviate lines. Staffing is limited on race day, thus you will be waiting.

  • 8:30AM to 9:45AM at Parkview Lodge at the corner of Holt and Lake. You will go around the building to the back windows. Again, please do not wait until race day to do this.

Please have patience when at packet pickup

so we can ensure getting the proper items to you.

THERE IS NO DAY OF REGISTRATION

VIRTUAL race packets will be mailed to ALL virtual participants thru Nov 17th registration to the address noted in their registration. Each virtual registrant was emailed the shipping/tracking info to the email that was used to register.

Please note: You must have a bib to participate. It is bad form and considered banditting if you do not have a bib. Just don't do it. It puts the entire event, its insurances, permits and other athletes at risk. Just don't do it.

Switching Events: This is highly discouraged, but if we are able and we can not guarantee it is doable, you will need to do it at packet pickup at the Armory. This can not be done on race day.

Forgetting Your Bib: Please bring your bib to race day otherwise there is a $5 processing fee for a new one. ProTip: Pin it to the shirt you are wearing on race day the night before so you have it one when you arrive to the race site.

Race Start Times

Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 23rd

Webster Park, Webster, NY

The 4.4 Miler Begins at 10AM SHARP about 150 meters south of Lake on Holt. Please note we start at 10AM SHARP. Give yourself PLENTY of Time to get to the start. This start is what is called "front loaded" so most of you are heading towards it to get to it from Lake. This means the closer you are to 10AM the faster you need to be to get to it AND clear the entire road because when we say GO the runners are coming straight for you. So go to the sides or better yet, be on time.

The 2.5 Miler Begins at 10:10AM SHARP. The 2.5 start is on the corner of Holt and Lake. Starting at 9:50AM, please stay out of the road so the 4.4 has a clear egress to start. You will be able to view this fantastical start as the masses race up the photo worthy hill.

The Buses & Parking

BUS UPDATE as of 11/18

The Busses are a Complimentary Service Courtesy of Fleet Feet

If you plan on taking the bus please read this as some of it is new from past years

Parking: If you do plan on parking at park - get there by 8:30AM before roads start closing.

  • There is NO PARKING at Parkview Lodge Lot - busses must be able to come in and out of here
  • There is parking at the following lots below until the roads close or lots are full. We encourage you to take advantage of these lots. You can come and tailgate pre trot.
  • The lot by Holt Lodge (across from Parkview Lodge)
  • The Pier Lot on Lake (caution walking to park from these locales)
  • The White House Lot on Lake (caution walking to park from these locales)
  • The 2 Kanatota Lots on Lake (caution walking to park from these locales)
  • There is a map of the parking areas on the website here - the areas Marked with a P for Parking is where you can park if by 8:30AM or until lots are full

Shuttle Bus Information

Few new things related to the buses this year.

  • No strollers on the bus
  • Be nice to every bus driver as they are working swiftly to get you to and from the park. Patience is key. It's Thanksgiving, be thankful we all can play at the park
  • Bus pickup is from Willink Middle School (900 Publishers Pkwy, Webster, NY 14580) AND Thomas HS (800 Five Mile Line Rd, Webster, NY 14580) ONLY - Please carpool to those lots
  • The buses will start rolling out at 8AM to bring you to the race site. It is your responsibility to arrive early to get on the bus. The final bus will leave both these locales at 9:30AM, although this is a very tight timeline to get to the start on time. So in a nutshell, get to the busses as early as possible, ideally before 8:30AM. Frankly, get there closer to 8AM. Do NOT WAIT to get on a bus.
  • After the race, the buses will start rolling out of the Holt Road/Parkview Lodge Parking area once the race ends so we encourage you to head straight to the busses post race. This is the same spot you got dropped off. Please remain calm, have patience and listen to the bus drivers. Be sure to get into an orderly line to load the busses and listen to instructions. Smile, have fun, share trot stories while on line.
  • Be nice to the bus drivers, they are doing everything in their power to get you to where you need to go quickly.
  • Be neat and don't leave litter on the bus
  • Enjoy the ride to and from the park!!

Thank you so very much for your support of the Webster Turkey Trot!!

Since 1972 people have been embarking onto Webster Park on Thanksgiving Morning starting with Jim May (Former Webster XC Coach), then Boots (Webster '88 Grad) took over in 1998. This event has been a tradition for so many families over the years and now spans generations who attend.

This event helps support the work of the Hope House of Webster, provide services to the yearly Webster 4th Grade Mile and is the sole money provider to the Jim May Scholarship Fund for a Webster XC HS Athlete, among many many other projects/services YellowJacket Racing and Fleet Feet provide throughout Monroe County.

The Webster Turkey Trot is a very special long standing event that has taken on a life of its own in a very remarkable way.

Much Gratitude!

Boots (Webster Class of '88), Ellen and

the entire Fleet Feet & YellowJacket Racing Team
