INSTAGRAM ROLLS OUT NEW FEATURES TO HELP PRECENT CYBERBULLYING
Instagram has unveiled new tools to help combat cyberbullying and other abusive behavior on the platform – a filter that will prevent users from seeing abusive Direct Messages (DMs) and a tool to stop someone a user has blocked from contacting them from another account.
FLORIDA HOUSE OVERWHELMINGLY APPROVES CONSUMER PRIVACY BILL
The Florida House resoundingly approved a consumer privacy bill, giving the public an opportunity to regain ownership of the personal data collected by companies and the right to sue companies for mishandling information in a marketplace where consumers themselves have become lucrative commodities.
THIS BECOME A BIG WEEK FOR "AI" REGULATION
The EU released its long-awaited set of AI regulations. The regulations are wide ranging, with restrictions on mass surveillance and the use of AI to manipulate people. According to the post, the FTC plans to go after companies using and selling biased algorithms.
