Luke Tanaka, CPA is a Manager in the ESG and Sustainability Services Group at PwC.

He has more than 8 years of experience working with companies across several sectors, including technology, manufacturing, financial services, energy, and hospitality.

He has helped public and private entities prepare for upcoming regulations, including the SEC climate rule, EU’s CSRD, and the California Climate bills.

Luke regularly advises clients through performance of readiness assessments, developing non-financial reporting strategies and information governance, process and control design, and leads assurance over ESG metrics.

Luke is a licensed CPA in Nevada and holds the SASB Fundamentals of Sustainability Accounting credential.

He is an avid cyclist and serves as a co-captain for the PwC AIDS/LifeCycle team raising funds for the SF AIDS Foundation and Los Angeles LGBT Center.
