Williston Economic Summit draws Large Crowd

Williston Economic Development - The Williston Economic Development Summit drew a large crowd for 11 different speakers and panels including the future of Williston Square, UAS developments and oil and gas emerging technologies. The Creative Treatment livestreamed the event on WED's Facebook and YouTube pages. Klug, Tuan present State of the City Address

News Release - The 2021 State of the City Address was held on Thursday, May 6 from 12-1:30 p.m. at Eleven Restaurant and Lounge as part of the Williston Economic Development (WED) Summit. District 1 Legislators discuss 2021 Session

Williston Economic Development - Ken Callahan moderated the panel featuring District 1 legislators on May 6 at the Williston Economic Development Summit. Williston Mayor announces Re-election Plans

Williston Herald - Williston Mayor Howard Klug announced his re-election bid during Thursday's State of the City Address.  The address came as part of the Williston Economic Development Summit, taking place at the Eleven Lounge. The theme for the event was "Back in the Game," showing the city's commitment to getting back to business after the difficulty of the last year.  Read More

Business After Hours, Bergman's win Delta Tickets

Williston Economic Development - More than 150 people attended the Williston Area Chamber of Commerce's Business After Hours on May 6. Williston Economic Development hosted the monthly networking event at Eleven Restaurant and Lounge. The evening featured live music from Kalie Rider, complimentary appetizers and giveaways. The winner of the grand prize, two gift cards for Delta Air Lines, was Bonnie Bergman (pictured with her husband Jerry). XWA donated the gift cards in honor or Delta's return to Williston on June 5. Delta will offer daily flights to Minneapolis, Minnesota (MSP)!

Williston Herald - The Williston Area Chamber of Commerce and Williston Economic Development's 1 Million Cups met on Wednesday, May 5, highlighting the Ebel Building and Arnie's Powersports and Cycle. This month's speakers were Austin and Melissa Ellingson from Arnie's Powersports and Cycle and Jocelyn Rice from the Ebel Building. Williston Herald - A familiar name is returning to Williston, bringing a whole new look to the establishment. JDub’s Bar and Grill will once again be known as the River’s Edge. Williston to celebrate Band Day May 8

Williston Herald - After postponing in 2020 due to COVID-19, Williston's Band Day celebration is coming back this Saturday, May 8, with 15 bands and nearly 100 parade entries. Another notable addition for 2021 is that the Band Day parade will be broadcast via Facebook Live, with commentary from Lyla Semenko and Jonathon Wharton. Read More
