A GREAT SALUTATION

Paul begins his salutation (greeting) to the believers in Ephesus with a greeting of blessing. We read it in Ephesians 1:2 where he said, “Grace be to you, and peace, from God our Father and from the Lord Jesus Christ.”
What a great way to greet somebody. Instead, we often say something like, “How are you doing,” or “It’s good to see you,” or some other generic salutation.
Paul’s greeting would be a good one to learn and to begin using, or something similar to it.
When someone greets me with “How are you?” I often reply with “I’m blessed and highly favored by the Lord.” This plants a positive gospel greeting in them. Upon parting, I often say, “Be blessed in Jesus name.” It has always been well received by believers and unbelievers alike.
Our words count. Let the words of our salutation, whether coming or going, count for good.
To God alone be the glory.

NO ROOM FOR BITTERNESS

A person that is bitter and full of bitterness did not start that way. They were born without the knowledge of good or bad. Bitterness comes as a child matures when an offence [also spelled offense] happens and is not dealt with.
So, just what is an offense? The dictionary defines offence as: Annoyance or resentment brought about by a “perceived insult” to or disregard for oneself or one’s standards or principles.
The Bible defines offenses as: a snare [trap] a stumbling block. In other words, it is something that causes us to be snared when spoken.
If offences are not dealt with by forgiving those that have offended us, then we become bitter. A person’s heart becomes hardened, and unless they repent, they become unpleasant to be around.
We are to forgive quickly. In Ephesians 4:31-32 it says, “Let ALL bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice: 32 And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, FORGIVING one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you.”
There is no room in the heart of a Christian for bitterness. Let it go. Ask God to forgive you and forgive those that have offended you or you will be turned over to the tormentors, which are demons. That is not a place any of us want to be, so forgive quickly. Do not be easily offended and keep your heart right with God.

Never think for a moment that you are a mistake. Even if cruel words have been spoken over you, you must realize that God is the author of life and He never makes a mistake. Then, because of love for you He gave His only begotten son to die for your sins. Isn't thatthe best love ever? Rejoice, knowing God loves you! Remember, you are not a mistake. God had a plan for you before you were in your mother's womb!

Don’t be afraid to speak the truth.
Speak the truth in love.
Prepare others for the coming of Christ.
Our morality is gone. No God
In our schools or country.
Look around, what do you see. Trouble!
Help and tell people of this Jesus you know.
Tell others they have a Savior,
And one that died for them.
Try to tell all you can that Jesus is love,
That Jesus is God.
The God that created the World.
This God that gave his Son,
His Son who died for us.
Repent of your sins dear ones,
And when you do Jesus is yours!
Eternity is yours and you will live again!
