BASIC

Holy Family is pleased to be able to offer Before and After School Care (BASIC) again this year. BASIC is available from 7 AM until 8 AM as well as immediately following dismissal until 5:30 PM.

Contact information for Holy Family’s new BASIC Coordinator will be available soon. She will have contracts for key fobs during the first week of school. Mrs. Kasia Mierzejewska (also known as Mrs. M!) is our new BASIC Director, and she is looking forward to serving your families.

UNIVERSAL PERMISSION FORM

Please complete one Universal Permission Form for each child in your family by Tuesday, September 6.

Holy Family students in preschool through eighth grades will have opportunities to participate in field trips throughout the 2022-23 school year.  You will be notified well in advance of the date, time, and place of each event, and you will have the opportunity to opt your child out by contacting the office.

Teachers and staff will accompany students on field trips. In some instances, parents who have been background checked and VIRTUS trained will be asked to volunteer as additional chaperones. You will receive notice if chaperones are needed.

OPPORTUNITIES TO VOLUNTEER

Principal Kubukse is looking for a parent volunteer to assemble two backpack carts for the cafeteria. The project will probably take around two hours, which will count toward your Family Volunteer Hours. Contact the office if you'd like to help.

Click here to volunteer your time in the cafeteria.

All volunteers must be VIRTUS trained and background checked.

VOLUNTEER REQUIREMENTS AT HOLY FAMILY:

VIRTUS TRAINING AND BACKGROUND CHECK PROCEDURES

Every adult who volunteers at Holy Family is required to have a current background check on file, complete a VIRTUS training course, and sign a volunteer agreement each year.

The Diocese of Green Bay mandates volunteer requirements, and there are no exceptions.

We strongly encourage all parents to go through this process because opportunities to volunteer will come up quickly, and your name must be on our approved list prior to registering for the event.

  1. BACKGROUND CHECK Volunteers are required to provide personal references, sign a declaration form, and authorize a criminal background check (and receive a satisfactory report) Click here to complete the background check.  Enter code: gbdioc04
  2.  All volunteers who have contact with children are required to complete VIRTUS Protecting God's Children training. Register here. The Green Bay Diocese is currently not offering in-person training, so all training is online.
  3.  AGREEMENT FORM All volunteers must sign and return the Diocesan Code of Pastoral Conduct to the school office annually. Several parents signed this document during Back to School Night, but
