CONTEND FOR THE FAITH
The book of Jude is only 25 verses long, but it has a powerful message for believers. Jude warns in verse 3, “Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.”
To contend means to struggle for or fight for something. In this season there are those that have lost much hope. They struggle in their daily lives just to survive. Satan has sent a crushing blow to many churches, where the doors are no longer open. Many have given in to the demands of ungodly mandates saying that we cannot as Christians gather together in groups. We have allowed them to mask us but unmasked rioters.
Many have not contended for the faith.
In this season, we must put on the whole armor of God, rise up and take back what Satan has stolen. We are not to be weary in well doing but know beyond a shadow of a doubt that we will reap in due season for making a stand for Christ if we faint not. Souls are perishing because there is no fight of faith. We cannot let this happen.
In Isaiah 6:8 it says, “Also I heard the voice of the Lord , saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, here am I; send me.” Will you be a voice for the Lord? Will you go into the field and speak for Him?
Will you contend for the faith? If we do not do it, then it will not get done. Selah
