Principal's Message
Throughout the year, students have been earning their H.A.L.O. by being Honest, Accountable, and a Leader to Others. A shining example of this was displayed by 8 th graders Danielle Dietz and Margo Kelley who completely organized and executed our recent pep rally, recognizing academics, athletics, and spiritual growth. I was overly impressed with the leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills demonstrated by these students. Also, as part of the pep rally, we also recognized a student in each homeroom who was chosen by their teacher as earning their H.A.L.O. throughout the school year. Congratulations to: Alice Armstrong, Maren Hannahan, Molly Kathmann, Juni Mayfield, Lucy Waleskowski, Jonah Dorich, Moira Kapp, Charlotte Rettig, Rachel Hall, Isaac Dorich, Brandon Ritze, Eleanor Lawler, Emily Richmond, Meredith Brunner, Patrick Dunn, Sydney Hirschauer, Grace Fechtel, Wes Brokamp, Lauren Johnson, Jay Dietz, and Caroline Monahan. I look forward to watching all students continue to grow in these important life skills throughout the rest of the school year.

God Bless,
Corey

All Enrollment Now Open
We opened enrollment to all families, new and current, at our Open House on Sunday, January 27. Thank you to all the families who took advantage of our early re-enrollment period for current families. Over half our families have re-enrolled for next school year! In reviewing enrollment numbers for next school year, we are asking all current families to re-enroll by March 1 . After this deadline, we cannot guarantee a spot for your child for the 2019-2020 school year. Many prospective families have contacted us through the Open House, tours, and other inquiries and are eager to attend Guardian Angels next school year. Also, by re-enrolling by this deadline, we will be best able to adequately and appropriately staff our grade levels for next year. It is very important to us that we have all re-enrollment completed by March 1 so that administrative decisions can be made early.

If you have not re-enrolled your children for the 19-20 school year, please remember this is a two-step re-enrollment process.
  • First, you will complete an electronic form through Administrator’s Plus Online Forms that can be accessed from the email you received last month. This step must be completed for each child you are enrolling.
  • Second, you must also complete a payment which includes registration and technology fees. The payment for these combined fees will be collected through the WeShare payment site.
The email you received January 18th from Bob Buck included instructions and links to the Administrator’s Plus Online Forms and the WeShare payment site. Both re-enrollment steps must be completed for full registration into next school year.

Our preschool classes for next school year are already very close to being full! There is very limited availability in all programs. If you have not already re-enrolled, or know of someone planning to enroll, please do so now!
The preschool process is separate from the KDG-8 th  grade process. If you are re-enrolling in preschool and KDG-8, you will need to fill out online re-enrollment forms for all of your returning students using Administrator’s Plus Online Forms and then make two payments at the WeShare payment site: one for your re-enrolling student(s) in preschool and one for your re-enrolling student(s) in KDG-8 th  grade. Also, if you are a current family registering a new student in any grade level, a new student registration packet can be found through the school website or in the school office.
Parent & Student Meeting - Human Sexuality
The Guardian Angels School Council has worked over the past year to research and develop a program that focuses on teaching students and parents about human sexuality and how bodies change during adolescent years. As a result of this work, we are excited to be able to offer a program, using the LoveEd resources, for both students and parents. Guardian Angels will host a parent meeting on March 13 at 6:00pm followed by gender-based presentations to students in grades 5 & 6 and 7 & 8 on Tuesday, March 19 and Wednesday, March 20 . Additional details and resources will be sent through email to parents this week, including a link to sign up for the parent meeting.
