3. Fast food cannot be dropped off for student lunches. This change helps reduce classroom/office disruptions due to item drop-offs, discourages food sharing, and supports healthier eating habits for all students.
4. We have experienced some technical issues with scheduled visitors scanning their driver’s license and connecting their photos using the Raptor visitor management system. We are working to resolve these issues. If you experience this issue while visiting, Cindy Sizemore can scan your license inside the main office.
5. To expedite the sign-in process, you can download the Raptor App to your phone and use a generated QR code when you arrive. Directions can be found here.
6. Specific sign-in directions for Halloween parties will be sent to scheduled volunteers later this week.
We appreciate your continued cooperation and understanding as we refine these procedures to ensure the safety and security of our students and staff. Your partnership allows us to maintain a welcoming yet secure environment for all who visit GA. As always, our goal is to create a smooth, efficient process that prioritizes safety without unnecessary inconvenience. Thank you for helping us keep our school community safe and running effectively.
God Bless,
Corey Stoops

Recognizing Our Amazing Teachers!
Everyone knows that Guardian Angels boasts some of the most amazing teachers and staff members! Each week, we want to recognize two of them and shower them with love and appreciation. This week we celebrate our Preschool Director, Lauren Dotzauer, and Preschool Aide, Barb Larka.
| | Ms. Dotzauer is truly exceptional. She leads our preschool program with wholehearted dedication and warmth, and her caring spirit leaves a lasting impression—children still stop to greet her and give hugs as they pass in the hall. Lauren, thank you for everything you do to make our preschool stand out; we deeply appreciate your kindness and leadership. | | Although Barb has only been with us a short time, her impact is felt. She is kind, patient, and always ready to jump into any task. Her gentle way with the preschoolers is noticeable and truly helps the teachers keep the classroom running smoothly. Thank you, Barb, for everything you do for our little angels. | | Please join us in recognizing and celebrating these two outstanding GA staff members. You can leave a kind note here. Notes, cards, emails, flowers, gift cards, etc. are always appreciated! | | |
Out-of-Uniform Day October 29th

Fall Break Reminder
As a reminder, fall break begins next Thursday, October 30th, and continues through November 3rd. School will resume on Tuesday, November 4th. Our staff will participate in an in-service day on November 3rd.
| | |
Drop Off Procedure Reminder
As a reminder, please use the car line and exit the parking lot onto Brachman Avenue. Please do NOT exit the parking lots via the Rectory Drive. This is a safety concern for those entering the parking lot to park, students returning from McNick, and parishioners exiting Mass. Just last week, a faculty member and a parishioner were nearly hit due to someone using the Rectory Drive as an exit. To keep our campus as safe as possible and manage the traffic in the morning, our procedures must be followed.
| | |
Picture Retake Day
Picture re-take day is scheduled for November 5th. Students should come dressed out of uniform following the out of uniform policy. Orders may still be placed online following the retake day.

Great News for Anyone Who Pays Ohio Income Tax and Supports Guardian Angels
We have many students at Guardian Angels who benefit from scholarships provided by the Catholic Education Foundation (CEF). Ohio taxpayers who donate to the CEF may be able to claim a dollar-for-dollar, non-refundable tax credit on their state income tax return, up to $750 per donor. For more information, click here.
We hope you consider a donation before the end of the year and choose "Guardian Angels School (Cincinnati)(C00160)" from the drop-down when prompted.
Parishioner and tax expert, Brien Dulle, is donating. Here's what he had to say. "Supporting the CEF is a no-brainer for me for two reasons. As a graduate of GA that is also sending my daughters to the school, I want to invest in the education that our children receive. Secondly, there's no extra money out of pocket since I can claim a dollar-for-dollar Ohio tax credit."

The sessions will be 2-hours in length, and will be after school from 3-5pm on the following days (please note the change in dates from previously communicated dates).
October 22
November 5
November 12

If your child plans to attend the HSPT prep sessions offered after school at GA, they must order the Barron's Test Prep book and have it available during these sessions. Click here to purchase.

Boosters and PTA Dues
Guardian Angels has three major parent-led organizations that provide services to our students: PTA, Athletic Boosters, and Fine Arts Boosters. This $100 fee covers all three programs (PTA facilitates the collection).
The classroom party fee is $15 a child. This money is used by PTA classroom coordinators to plan and put on parties for each homeroom. Click here to pay dues and party fees.
Teacher/Staff Gifts
The PTA facilitates the collection of monetary gifts for the teachers at Christmas and the end of the year. This is not mandatory but provides an opportunity for parents and families to celebrate teachers and staff with a monetary gift. Please use this link if you would like to contribute to teacher and staff gifts.
Contact Aubrey Badell at groveraubrey@hotmail.com with any questions.

Sensory-Friendly Mass at St. John Fisher First Sundays of the Month
St. Gregory the Great Family of Parishes and the Archdiocese of Cincinnati Office for Persons with Disabilities offers a Sensory-Friendly Mass on the first Sunday of the month at St. John Fisher. All are welcome! A special invitation is extended to any person with autism, developmental disabilities, Alzheimer’s, dementia, or sensory issues. These Masses may include lower lighting, quiet music and/or no music, and shorter more literal homilies; however, the biggest difference is that we try to create an environment free of stigma. We encourage families and individuals to get up and move if needed, to bring alternative seating, fidgets or noise cancelling headphones, and to participate in the liturgy just as they are.
