Recently, Kayla Hartzler informed us that she has accepted another professional opportunity and will not be returning to Guardian Angels for the 2026–2027 school year. During her 5 years at GA, Kayla made a meaningful impact on our school community through her dedication to our first-grade students. She consistently created engaging, hands-on learning experiences that fostered curiosity, excitement, and a love of learning. Please join me in thanking Kayla for her commitment to Guardian Angels and wishing her well as she begins this next chapter in her career.
Fortunately, we were very successful in the hiring process are excited to welcome Grace Driscoll as our new first grade teacher. Grace graduated from Miami University with a degree in Strategic Communications & English and then recently graduated from Mount St. Joseph University with a Master of Arts in Teaching! She has experience teaching several primary grades through university placements and also worked as a classroom aide for four years. Through the interview process, Grace highlighted the importance of building strong relationships with students & parents and demonstrated strong knowledge of early literacy learning.
