Meet the Teacher Night (K-8)

Meet the Teacher Night is scheduled for Tuesday, August 27 for families of students in kindergarten through eighth grades. I look forward to seeing all parents there! It will be a wonderful opportunity to meet your child’s teacher, listen to presentations by school administration and school/parish organizations, as well as talk with other GA community members! This event is for parents only. We will begin in the PC Gym with social hour at 6:00pm, followed by presentations starting promptly at 7:00pm. Following this, parents will be dismissed to classrooms for teacher/grade level presentations. Three sessions will be available, so that parents with multiple children can visit all classrooms. An announcement over the loudspeaker will be made to indicate when parents should switch classes.
Emergency All-Call System

All parents should have received a phone call from Guardian Angels School on Tuesday, around 4:30-5:00 p.m. This was a test of our emergency all-call system. If you did not receive a phone call, please email Jill Buchmann. The emergency all-call system is used to inform you of a change in operation due to weather or other emergency situation.

We’ve made it easy for you to take care of your PTA/Booster Dues, Classroom Fees, and Gifts for the 2019-2020 school year. Please visit to pay your dues . Please ensure to pay attention to each payment; some are per family, and some are per student. We hope that you find this easy and convenient. Your contributions are very important to our children to continue to build a bigger, brighter future for each child, and to our teachers for recognizing their love and dedication to our children.

Used Uniform Exchange
As you clean out closets to prepare for the new school year, consider donating your old uniform items to PTA. Any uniform pieces that are in good condition, and meet current GA uniform guidelines will be accepted. We ask that donated items not be overly-faded, pilled, torn, stained or dirty. You can place your donations in the labeled box in the school office until August 27th .

If you are looking to add a few new pieces to your current uniform collection, donated items will be available during the social hour on Meet the Teacher night.

Questions should be directed to Becky Tiefenbach .
Box Tops Goes Digital This Year
Box Tops is going digital! The Guardian Angels PTA collects Box Tops and uses the funds earned to purchase indoor recess games and outdoor recess equipment. This year, Box Tops is switching to a digital platform. To participate, you’ll need to download the Box Tops App. No more cutting labels off boxes! Instead, you’ll go into the Box Tops app and just scan your grocery receipt within 14 days of purchase. You’ll find more information attached .

Currently, you can still find old Box Tops labels on some products. GA students can still submit those paper Box Tops to their homeroom teachers and parishioners can drop them off in the special collection envelope located on the bulletin board in the Church Gathering Space. Those labels will be picked up on November 1st and then again on March 1st . These physical labels are being phased out though so at some point the digital option will be the only way to submit Box Tops.
