New Year, New Look
GoNetspeed is excited to present a new look with its refreshed brand presence, including new logo, brand positioning, and brand promise. The refresh is reflective of the brand’s ongoing expansion across markets and dedication to delivering the highest level of connectivity possible.

Aligning with the brand’s commitment to superior connectivity, GoNetspeed has announced plans to support new subscribers by providing wireless routers at the time of service installation. To ensure that GoNetspeed subscribers get the most out of their service, the company will now provide home Wi-Fi 6 routers when service is installed. Until now, the home router was the responsibility of the subscriber.

GoNetspeed has its construction plans mapped out through 2022 and citizens can check availability and sign up for priority installation by visiting https://www.gonetspeed.com/, Even those who may not be eligible for service should complete the submission form because GoNetspeed employs some crowdsourcing to help determine on future build locations.

We know moving can be stressful but it does not have to be. Welcome Wagon has been the industry leader since 1928. We have the latest data in the country because of our publicly traded parent company Porch and our data division, V12. We work with home builders and home inspectors nationally.

THINK AHEAD! Right now we are promoting our March marketing campaign. Until the end of January, we can offer your company 25% off pricing. It’s the perfect time of year to connect with all the new families moving in this spring that will need your business services. What’s more, your business will be featured with exclusivity in your desired markets.

Our niche-based marketing program creates lasting relationships between new movers and local businesses such as yours. We connect everywhere people are today with our direct mail, digital and social media platforms.

And recently, we expanded our product offerings and released a new postcard program for the pre-mover market. As a result, we can mail weekly postcards 10 to 14 days ahead of any other marketing firms to people who just listed their home for sale.

Research shows that the majority of movers (90%) would like to try a new company and/or new provider before, during or after the moving process.
Our parent company Porch and V12 recently conducted a national study with The Harris Poll “2021 New Mover Trends Report.”

Magic, Mayhem and Maturity: The Growth of Youth Fantasy Literature is on view through February 5, 2022

John Pizzarelli, hailed by the Boston Globe for “reinvigorating the Great American Songbook and re-popularizing jazz,” is a Quick Center favorite. His natural talent for jazz has even earned him the title of “genial genius of the guitar” by the Toronto Star, further revealing his impressive skills as an entertainer. In his career, he has opened for greats such as Dave Brubeck, Ramsey Lewis, and Rosemary Clooney across clubs and concert halls on the jazz circuit. In 1993, Pizzarelli was even honored to open for Frank Sinatra’s international tour.
In 2021, Pizzarelli released a new album titled, Better Days Ahead: Solo Guitar Takes on Pat Metheny, a creation that marks the first solo album in his 40-year career. Created through the tragedy of the pandemic, Pizzarelli found solace in the music of legendary jazz guitarist Pat Metheny upon the passing of both of his parents due to Covid-19. In Better Days Ahead, Pizzarelli takes a deep dive into Metheny’s Grammy Award-winning catalogue, deconstructing famed arrangements on his seven-string guitar in ways that will thrill not only jazz lovers but also aficionados of classical and Spanish guitar.
This time, John Pizzarelli is joined on stage by his 18-piece big band and you don’t want to miss it! Join us on Sunday, January 30 at 3 p.m.

The Pogroms of 1918-1921 and the Onset of the Holocaust: Virtual Lecture, Jan. 31

"In the Midst of Civilized Europe: The Pogroms of 1918-1921 and the Onset of the Holocaust” is free and open to the public, and will be delivered as a Zoom webinar.

FAIRFIELD, Conn. (January 21, 2022) — On Monday, January 31 at 7:30 p.m., Jeffrey Veidlinger, PhD, Brodsky Collegiate Professor of History and Judaic Studies and director of the Frankel Center for Judaic Studies, University of Michigan, will deliver a lecture entitled "In the Midst of Civilized Europe: The Pogroms of 1918-1921 and the Onset of the Holocaust." This event is free and open to the public, and will be delivered as a Zoom webinar. Register to attend at fairfield.edu/bennettprograms

Between 1918 and 1921, more than 100,000 Jews were murdered in the Ukraine during pogroms carried out by anti-Semitic factions who blamed the Jews for the unrest of the Russian Revolution. Aid workers at the time voiced concern that this genocidal violence could lead to more widespread extermination attempts in the future. Twenty years later, with the onset of the Holocaust, that premonition came true. Drawing upon archival materials, witness accounts, and trial records, Dr. Veidlinger will discuss how the pogroms between 1918 and 1921 created the conditions for the Holocaust.
